As you know, my mother In Law sadly died on Saturday 2nd January...today we had a funeral. After a service before the cremation , we headed back into Derby to the church Thelma attended for a service of Thanksgiving .This is the display Jan assembled at the front of the church.Thelma used to play the violin to a high standard and once played with noted violinist Yehudi Menuhin, she was also an Analytical Chemist ....but above all I knew her as the Mother to my wife and my Mother in Law...a clever intelligent private and caring woman....sadly missed.

Very nice note of remembrance...
Sweet fond Memories that will be there for ever in your lives!
Prayers and quiet remembrance to a remarkable woman.
That's a lovely display and a wonderful tribute to your mother in law. She had a full and interesting life by the sounds of it.
What a lovely display. It sounds like she was an amazing person and once again I offer my condolences for your sad loss. You must have some great memories of her nad I hope that in time these bring you all comfort.
It sounds like it was a beautiful farewell.
