Flat.

Iam the dream weaver,
the puzzler,
The enigmatist,
Stepping toe to toe
amongst shadows and rainbows,
in between wakefulness and slumber,
caressing illusions and breathing stars.

The truth is I'm empty...not a spec of inspiration...I'm flat as a pancake...I sat and stared at 'Three Graces' and ...nothing.So I'm writing pretentious verse and listening to lots of progressive rock, burning incense and drinking rum. If I survive , I'll be back soon!

We all have fallow times and its frustrating when it happens. The good thing is that inspiration does return. It just needs a little break.

Enjoy the time to explore other things before it returns with a vengence!

Yes Jeanette, I'm sure you too have had similar times. It's actually a possitive thing to be able to recognise that we each need to seek inspiration...it does come eventually, but sometimes one needs to provise a nurturing environment...hence lots of music,reading,movies,etc....I thinnk a good walk will help too...it's a lovely sunny day here, so I'll get out there.

I feel like that aaaalll the time, flat as a pancake. Sometimes changing the routine helps. The muse will come eventually.
