Ball Of Wool - 14 Happy Diwali!!

starting work here on the background..the trees are similar to a couple I've used in pictures this year..they fascinate me. this time they are to be full of lights, which is appropriate for the seasonal festival of Diwali. The festival of light http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diwali Now weather or not you can accept the religious significance of the festival or not..the reference to the 'inner Light' should not be ignored by anyone. To recognise that there is 'something more' beyond the physical world in which we live is wise.

Remember...it takes a lot of faith to be an Atheist!

lol I love that quote. It's true.

I'd like to see people's auras, must be cool :)

So true...witnessing your inner light shine under utmost darkness takes a lot of courage...and this Festive season, we shall pray that all darkness is dispelled...

Happy Diwali

Of all your work that I have seen on your blog, this one somehow seems to be a lot more intense. The intensity of the gaze is very intriguing to say the least. Looking forward to the finished portrait and your explanation of the same.
