Kay - finished

Well, here it is..the finished picture. I'm sorry i haven't written much over the last couple of days.My life seems to be a bit of a mess at times.

Friday night we took my brother Tim and his wife Wendy out for a meal and then on to watch 'Quantum Of Solace' the new James Bond movie.I'm afraid to say it left me feeling empty in many ways..in my personal opinion i had little empathy for the characters and the plot seems vague and lacking purpose.

However, in total contrast, I watched on DVD, The Eternal sunshine Of The Spotless Mind with Jim Carey and Kate Winslet among others.A truly fascinating and challenging couple of hours which moved me and enthralled me.Wha an amazing story. I am told that production of a movie adaptation of Audrey Niffennegger's sublime novel, The Time Travellers Wife' is scheduled..I for one could not imagine how such a story could be represented in a movie...but having seen ESOTSM, I can well imagine it being possible.

Really nice, soft result there.

What a contrast - a James Bond film and the Eternal Sunshine next...That would have left me wondering why I had wasted precious moments of my life watching Bond (not that I've watched it but I don't intend to neither). That reminds me of a friend of mine (male, of course) who wouldn't understand why I had no interest to see a Bond film. He insisted that I HAD to go, even if I didn't like that kind of thing, just because it was the new bond film. lol

DM...It was my birthday present to my brother..a cinema trip and meal...he chose what to see and that was OK because he's my brother!...I would never have gone otherwise!

Lovely picture. So peaceful, and yet, I can't help but think she is contemplating a terrible problem. I have been absent from your blog for a while, but I am back and excited to see your next piece. I love when I can follow you from start to finish.

I loved ESOTSM. It captured the pain of having some memories while showing how empty our lives can be without our expereinces, both good and bad. I loved it.

On the other hand I have to agree with your thoughts on QoS. It seemed to me that they sacrified plot in favour of action and I hated how they shot the action scenes - all close up and jiggly so it was hard to follow. Ugh! Casino Royale was far superior though I still think Daniel Craig makes an excellent Bond.

Love the finished piece BTW :)

Liked the line "Blessed are the forgetful, for they get the better even of their blunders." from the movie Eternal Sunshine. Great Movie about how difficult it is to forget someone u love. I have tried something of that sort with my blog characters but in a light hearted fashion.

Your picture: Looks like the lady looking at the sun from her window and asking it a lot of questions on her past and future. In Hindu we believe sun as the one who gives the results of our karmas.
