You may have noticed a change in the title of this picture..it's actually only a 'work in progress' title so will change when I've got the real one worked out!..I've enjoyed working on the sky/lightning stuff today..I'm looking forward to being able to get on with refining the figures and working out what I'm going to put in the foreground..meanwhile I'm itching to get back to some colour work soon.I should also take this opportunity to mention my Brother Tim who this week (thanks to being laid up with a back injury) has actually had a go at dotting. you can view his work on his own blog: http://timbosys.blogspot.com/

Hello! Long time no see, but I'm back on line finally.
The picture is quite cool. Did you every think of doing a short cartoon, ala Silver Surfer?
I know it would be difficult, but it would be interesting. This picture definitely seems like part of a whole story going on...

Sue.. As you might have gathered..I love the Silver Surfer..I once used to dream of being a Marvel Comics artist.

It's taking about as long as I expected..however, it's taking time getting the composition finalised..even now it's still not certain what i'll do with the robe and foreground!
SUE..I forgot to mention..there is a very definite 'story' to this one.but I'm keeping it close to my chest for now..what do you think it's about?
