It was with a sense of joy that I sat at the front of my art class at school today and showed the children this picture. Each week I take whatever I am working on so they can see the progress...And what was the first thing they said?.."you've got no clothes on!"...Well, hopefully they don't all Rush home to be asked by their parents "what did you do in art class today?"...to hear that "Niall showed us a picture of him with no clothes on !"...I can hear the sirens now even as I write!
They understood the concept of wool which is for clothing but in this case I've got all raveled up. I explained that the basic concept of wool is simple..like friendships. But sometimes a misheard comment, a poorly communicated piece of information means tangle time! ...I seem to be doing a lot of that sort of thing myself recently!

heh..heh... that's what my son said too...
came here via ps...and many times too. each time was too overawed to make a comment...The detailing, the color, the expressions....
yeah...my life is like the ball of wool...very tangled right now...:(
I guess, life's always about expecting the unexpected. But i'm sure you'll sail through this phase brilliantly and you'll untangle really well. The thought of how well the wool feels while it was well wound, should pull you through.
The eyes in the picture are spot on....looks really good
And did u get to hear those sirens?? ;)
Pretty red ball of wool. Pretty!
I do like the analogy with friendships.
Hahaha
It's great! Great expression you've got there.
