Cool! The way you're handling the dots on the train, around the orb, make it appear as if the orb is glowing!

Cindy...I wasn't sure what to do with the orb.It just seemed right that he should have one...I had considered that the boy have one also...I'm not entirely sure what it symbolises yet other than perhaps we all hold our light and life in our grasp and it is ours to steward and live. How we use it is up to us. what do you think?

Words that come to mind when i see an orb are 'unknown' and 'unknown possibilities or paths'. I also sense that it relates to each of us as individuals, but that its essence is beyond/greater than/more 'total' than our individual selves.
I always had a thing for clear marbles as a kid...especially if it was a blue-green color. :)

Looking good so far Niall. May the meaning of the orb is no meaning at all. Always good to make people think. If there is a vacume people usually fill it with nonsense.

Cindy...I like your ideas. The sphere/orb is a representation of the perfect, the potential...ummm...we each possess the potential for something.

Tim...I would never suggest that anyone making an interpretation of what my work means to them is nonsense. Art is in the eye of the beholder and what a picture says to one person is often very different from what it says to another. In my opinion , each are vallied and relevant.
