I think that's about it.

There was once an art teacher who was famous for saying that when you start looking for things to do, then you should finish. So I think this is where I am with 'Games'..115 hours in total. It's almost an anti climax of sorts because irrespective of the picture, the actual act of working is something I need to do.

So it's a case of looking for the next project. As I've said many times before, I don't have a shortage of things I could develop, It's just a matter of catching the spark of inspiration that turns an idea into something that becomes an all consuming necessity.

Anyway..all I need to do for the present is to sit back and enjoy the conclusions that people come to when interpreting what the picture is about.

I have tried. Honestly. I've looked and looked but nothing comes out.
It is quite powerful nevertheless.

To me it seems like the rushing train signifies passage of time.Lightning is striking the church steeple.Signifying perhaps 'the doctrines of religion' need to be examined or rethought? The girl is frightened. What is she scared of?(Maybe as she plays the game of life, time rushes by?)The man probably symbolises death--waiting to strike.
Maybe you meant it to be completely different Niall..But this is how it looked to me.
I loved the brilliance and the master touch in it.(even though its not a 'happy' picture)

DM & PS..You are both the most faithfull followers of my work, so you deserve a full explanation of what I'm getting at..will write to you separately. however that does not mean that your interpretation is not 'right'..there are many 'rights' which I have not discovered yet!

Hi there! I haven't been on too much lately, but I wanted to have a go at my feeling of the picture...
To me, she is all innocent energy -- probably optimistic, although she seems a bit worried right now... probably foolish... playing... and channeling her own energy through the cathedral into the atmosphere...

He seems the opposite of innocent and the opposite of energy; pessimistic, worried, draining... too thoughtful and somber. Too old for his years. He is channeling smoke and cinders through the train into the atmosphere...

They aren't together, really, but they are two opposite halves of the same whole... and the tree watches it all.
