Here you can see the result of nearly 5 hours solid dotting today. I took a short break for lunch, but basically this was all I did. To you it might look as if I haven't done much. Well this is the nature of my work.Perhaps I'll include a few closeup shots tomorrow.I'm pleased to welcome a few new readers..I'd encourage you to check out my archives where you'll see the process shown for all my work since September last year.
I'm considering setting up a new blog site which will be a team blog for those of you who produce art work.It would be a chance to have an online gallery to which you can post your work for others to comment on.Would you be interested in such a venture?...let me know.

I think that's a very good idea :) I'm not sure I'd have 'art' to give. Or the will to post it. But it's still a lovely idea!
The invisible work is very necessary.
I know HOW MUCH effort would have been invloved in those dots.I know because I tried it once.Amazing work Niall.
As regards team blog--i think the idea is great, but again I dont know how much i can 'contribute"! (am commitment phobic because once i take up something I'm totally into it)
I have been reading back through your posts to watch this piece take shape and I CAN appreciate the effort that is going into it. I suspect that it is only the uneducated in art or the person closest to it who thinks that way :-) This is because you see it everyday and therefore it must be harder for you to see the progress. Kind of like when child grows, the parents don't see as much of a difference as the aunts and uncles! :-) Can't wait to see it take shape some more.
I would love to try posting on a team blog thing, although I'm nowhere in your league! -- it might inspire me to do more art, and that would be great.
I'm looking forward to taking alot of photos this weekend, we're going on a ski trip!!!
