I've been working hard to increase the density of colour to the branches and trunks..also the 'hazy' trees in the distance.I showed this picture to the children in my class today and they immediately knew the place it depicts.Peoples faces light up when they see pictures of the Arboretum , a lot of the residents of the area know the historical significance of the park but feel that the area is avoided because of it's poor reputation and crime. I for one aim to show more of the beauty of the place and at least enable some to hold their heads up with pride for what is a gem of a place!

i love the way it is shaping up--and love the colours you've used.Usually when you live in a place for long, you slowly get used to the beauty and fail to notice anything spectacular.Am glad your pictures are bringing this out.
It's a shame when lovely places are avoided for bad reputation. When ugly places are avoided for bad reputation..well, that's better. :)
